I tried to put this lovely lady at the end of my post but she insisted on being first. She is a sweet gal so I let here have her way.
Phew! Finally a day in which I am not required to be flying around doing necessities then hurry off to do a companion job! It seems every day this week I have had someone having to go to the Docs or Vets. I had to go yesterday for a check up, found out I have a bacterial infection in my armpits (how did that happen?) and the doc thinks I have arthritis of the knees! Ha! How did that happen? Growing old sucks! He did say I need to go to a runners store and get a good pair of shoes to correct whatever is going on with my feet so I will be able to run without knee pain. As much as I love my artwork, I have decided to add a variety of new items to my line up. I am going to go back into working with wood and make all kinds of crafts and designs for decorating. I am in the process of researching what is the popular type of decore for this time. If anybody has any ideas and/or knows of any good websites that would help me out, please feel free to let me know! I have been working dilligently on crocheting a Christmas afghan for a while... I lost count of the number of rows and as a result I have made the afghan a bit larger than normal. Hopefully that will be finished soon so I can move on to another one. Has anyone noticed a slowing in sales since this Wall Street/bank credit fiasco hit? I can't judge because I wasn't selling much before it hit. I must admit I have no understanding of the goings on of Wall Street other than it is extremely easy to lose money if your agent isn't good or on the up and up. I suppose I should take the initiative to learn about it all but me and numbers don't mix real well and Wall Street is all about numbers!

When people turn 50 or when they're younger and have a family history of Colon Cancer, the recommendation is that they have a Colonoscopy. It's typically not high on anyone's list of favorite things that they just can't wait to try. Along with getting an invitation to join AARP, this marks another age related rite of passage in a person's life that doesn't carry the same kind of excited anticipation as let's say, getting a driver's license did when we were younger.
It's the whole idea of a small tube with a camera attached being placed into areas that most of us would rather not even think about, let alone make an appointment for.
It's the Clean Out
When helpful friends are trying their best to reassure you about colonoscopies, they inevitably say something really compelling about how the procedure isn't bad, because the drugs they give you to relax are very pleasant, it's the Clean Out that's the worst part.
I have a friend who needed a colonoscopy for a serious bowel problem, who had so much trouble drinking her Clean Out solution, that I had to go over and drink a few sips to show her it wasn't so bad. I know, I know, I'm an enabler. She's a nurse too, so you'd think she'd chug it down, but that's another story.
Virtual Colonoscopy the Wave of the Future
This is perfect timing. So instead of having a large tube with a miniature camera inserted, people who are having virtual colonoscopies, will have an even smaller tube inserted that release a tiny bit of air into the intestines. Then using a combination of CAT scans or MRI while the person lies on their back and then on their tummy, a 3-D image is generated to look for polyps, diverticulosis and colon cancer.
Drawbacks
You still have to do the Clean Out. Sorry, haven't figured that one out yet. And if there is something seen, like a polyp, then a regular (conventional) colonoscopy must be used to remove it.
What to do
I'm going to find a GI (Gastroenterologist) who does this in my area and I'll let you know how it goes. Anyone want to come over and drink some of the Clean Out mix with me?

hello folks its that time again to bring you a recap of this weeks bowling for monday night and thursday night.so on monday night i felt okay but my bowling was just that too in shooting 180-183-178 for a 541 series on the night.yeah i know it wasn,t great but thats all ii could muster up making alot of adjustments too and it just wasn,t meant to be i guess granted i was a bit erratic at times and it showed too.team wise we won 2 out of three games but we lost total pins going 4-3 on the night.now for thursday night i went in figuring since they have changed the shot a bit i would change my ball surfaces and sure enough it hooked great and at time hooked way too much.too.my night went something like this 207-189-196 for a 593 series for the night.so not bad at all in all reality i just need to get it going again on mondays now but i,ll get there.,i always go thru these little deals from time to time...team wise we took them all on the night going 4-0 so all in all i will take it and move on as we are about 3rd or 4th maybe heading into next weeks bowling on thursday.well folks thats about it for this weeks bowling so have a great weekend and talk with ya next week...
I normally have been posting my own stuff but I found this on youtube and its funny. Props to the creator. I thought I'd share it with everyone. Enjoy!
